The Secrets They Don’t Want to Tell You

If you could ask successful marketers and entrepreneurs how they make money online, you would receive a lot of vague answers. Many experienced professionals will completely blow you off because it’s in their best interests to keep their strategies secret.

I was in this exact situation before finding Wealthy Affiliate. When you sign up for your free account, you will have access to the beginner training course and live help for seven days. You will start building your business with two free websites hosted by Wealthy Affiliate. The training course will walk you through the process of setting up a functional website real people will find valuable and that has the potential to land those coveted spots at the top of the search engine results pages.

You don’t even have to pay for your domain names or keyword research tools at this stage, so there really is no financial investment to get started. After your one-week trial experience, you get to decide how you proceed:

1. Remain on the site as a free member. You will have access to your two free websites, but you won’t have access to additional training courses, the keyword research tool, or around-the-clock technical support.

2. Upgrade to the paid membership. This will give you access to the more advanced training courses that allow you to grow your business faster without making rookie mistakes. You will also have the full support of the community, including unlimited opportunities for one-on-one coaching and a variety of webinars and training modules that spill the secrets that so many experts don’t want you to know.

What Does Wealthy Affiliate Really Cost?

Many Wealthy Affiliate reviews play up the free membership and stop short of telling you what comes after that sneak peek. You can get a big start on your new business during that week, but then what? If you choose to upgrade to the premium membership, you have two payment options:

  • $47 per month, automatically drafted from your credit card. I can give you a special discount that will bring your first payment down to $19, so you save right from the start.
  • $359 yearly membership. That brings your monthly expense to $29, and there are no ongoing payments to worry about.

There is one more investment that you will have to make if you want this program to transform your financial life: time. Kyle and Carson have become two of the most successful entrepreneurs of their time because they worked hard day after day and year after year. While the training courses offered through Wealthy Affiliate will tell you exactly how they did it, you will have to take action to follow in their shoes and build a successful business of your own.

My Honest Opinion

I admitted earlier to feeling skeptical when I first joined Wealthy Affiliate. After completing the beginner training course and starting my free websites, I realized that this was the best investment that I have ever made for my life.

When I need technical support, it’s there any time of the day or night. When I need motivation, I just log in and read encouraging posts from my fellow members. If I ever lose my way, one-on-one coaching will get me back on track quickly.

It’s not a question of whether you should join, but how and when you should join.

About the price.

business meShould you take advantage of the $47 monthly payments? Since premium hosting for 50 websites alone would cost far more than that, this is an excellent option. You can always upgrade to the yearly subscription at a later point if you don’t want to worry about payments.

Is this membership truly worth $359 for a year? Absolutely! This is the best way to invest in your future because it gives you 365 days to turn your financial life around. If you follow the training and work consistently, you can do amazing things in the next year.

What if you don’t have $47? I can give you a discount that will lower your first monthly payment to $19. If you don’t have that, stick with the free program while you save up. You can always get started for free, so you have nothing to lose by at least completing the free week of training.

Remember, Wealthy Affiliate gives you everything needed to build a profitable business, right down to the keyword research tool and advice on multiple monetization options. Kyle and Carson are handing you the tools for success. Now it’s time to prove what you’re capable of accomplishing.

Work From Home Jobs – Affiliate Marketing

Market Street_8545098870_lWorking at home can be the ideal way to earn money. Working at home has many advantages. A work home job often means a reduction in work-related costs such as buying work clothing as well as the opportunity to spend more time at home. A work at home job allows the worker to avoid spending long hours commuting to work. This kind of job also allows people to have flexible hours that may let them work on weekends or later at night. Many people want to have a work at home job if possible. Sometimes, people are able to have a full-time job that can be done at home. In other instances, it is possible to find a part-time that lets the employee work from home. Perhaps the best way to find a work at home job is to create one. Many people have found that today’s interconnected world makes it easier than ever for them to start a work at home job of their own. Many avenues exist to start a job in one’s free time that allows someone to earn extra money.

Work at Home Jobs

A typical work at home job is based on doing a job that provides people with services that are needed. Many employers hire people to do things such as answer the phone for customer calls at home or respond to potential sales leads that have been generated elsewhere. Other typical work at home jobs often involve doing tasks for various companies such as evaluating websites or providing content for a website that is accurate and relevant as well as easy to read. The kind of work at home job that is right for any given person will depend on multiple factors including their skills, education level and available work hours. Many people want to find a job that allows them to be able to earn money as necessary. Someone might want to work a lot of hours during a certain month and then rest for a few weeks. Another person may want to work as much as possible for much of the year so they can save money. Still another person may prefer to work only now and then in order to earn some extra cash during retirement or to help them pay certain bills each month.

Affiliate Marketing

home businessOne of the best work at home jobs is one that the worker creates. A great way to create a new job is via affiliate marketing. Many people have participated in affiliate marketing efforts but may not be aware of what the term means. Affiliate marketing basically means getting funds to promote a product or service to readers. The person provides readers with a link they can use to buy products or services on a popular website. Many people today choose to buy many common items via a website. A person might decide to buy a book online rather than from a bookstore. They may also decide to order office supplies for their own business and have them delivered as needed rather than spend time shopping for products in person each month. The affiliate marketer is someone who helps consumers become aware of places where they can purchase such goods easily. Many people are pleased to follow a link because they know they are helping support someone they like and respect. This can be an excellent way to earn some money on the side as necessary to pay the bills. Done well, it can even become a major source of income.

make moneyBecoming an Affiliate Marketer

In order to become an affiliate marketer, all anyone really needs is a place to put affiliate links. The best place to put such links is typically on a blog. Starting a blog is relatively easy. Many people find it makes sense for them to blog about a subject they care about deeply. For example, if someone loves cats, they might start blogging about cats. The blog can then be posted on places where people gather to talk about cats online. A blogger who writes engaging copy can then find an audience. Once they have found an audience, it is often easy to monetize their blog via affiliate links. The blogger can write about products they like. Many companies are happy to have business from people who are passionate about their products and services. A good blogger can then earn a commission each time someone click on the link and buys a product. This can make a great way to earn income or even a living from a part-time job that can generate income even when the person isn’t working. Thoughtful, good writing is the key to establishing an audience and using affiliate marketing methods well.

10 Big Mistakes New Affiliate Marketers Make (2016)

Image of a failAn affiliate marketer earns commissions on sales of other company’s products, by promoting the products. The marketer’s success depends on strategy, research, conscience, sales tracking, diversifying traffic sources, and staying up to date with changing web technology. Here are some big mistakes that new affiliate marketers have made, and advice on how to avoid repeating them.

1) Forcing the selling of the product, rather than giving advice to buy it.

Affiliates are the ones who sell the products, not the affiliate marketers – even though ‘market’ is in the job title. An affiliate marketer may be keen to earn a commission, but his or her job is to promote the affiliate’s products to potential customers that the affiliate may not normally be able to reach. The affiliate marketer should never directly tell anyone to buy a product – for example, using links that say “BUY THIS NOW!” Instead, he or she recommends the product in an unbiased fashion – preferably a product that they are personally familiar with – based on knowledge, experience, and perhaps other buyers’ reviews. An affiliate marketer should be a reviewer and a recommender, not a salesperson.

2) Overloading one’s self with affiliate customers.

Once again, an affiliate marketer might be keen to earn as much from commissions as possible by joining every affiliate program he or she comes across, but this can lead to an unmanageable workload. Affiliate programs should be chosen wisely – again, choosing products that one is actually familiar with is best.

3) Not testing an affiliate as a pretend consumer, to see if it follows through.

While realistically not every affiliate can be given a test run by an affiliate marketer, sometimes there are ways to see if, for example, an affiliate is a spammer. A marketer can create a ‘work’ email address and purchase a cheap product, to see if the company is an inbox clogger. If a consumer is led by a marketer to purchase a product through an affiliate, and they’re spammed mercilessly afterward, the consumer loses trust in the marketer, and stops visiting his or her campaign sites.

4) Not tracking one’s marketing web pages and campaigns to discover which pages are working, and which ones are not.

It is nice to earn one commission for one sale, but if the marketer finds which web campaign sold that product and can adapt that page to become even more successful, then many more sales might result. Using tracking affiliate links on campaign sites help the marketer find which campaigns are working best, so they can figure out why.

5) Not using product comparison for campaign pages.

Consumers like to compare choices. Right before making a purchase, usually the customer has whittled a choice down to two or three products. If the affiliate marketer lists several choices on a campaign page, and uses tracking affiliate links for each product, then they can discover which product is selling the best, and move it to the top of the list for better consumer visibility. This strategy is helpful to consumers, and profitable for marketers.

6) Making false “Get Rich Online Fast” claims.

This happens in online forums for those who are trying to learn the business of affiliate marketing. A marketer claims that the person reading the website can make big money by clicking on a link – which so happens to be for the marketer’s own campaign website, offering training for affiliate marketing or other products. As stated in Number One, it is fine to recommend products or training services; but trying to trick people will once again lead to consumers losing trust in the marketer’s campaigns. Warnings made against those sites might be the negative result.

7) Having too many campaign pages in an effort to be more successful financially.

It is better to go one inch wide and one mile deep, rather than the other way around. One completed and profitable campaign is worth fifty half-finished campaigns, in random niches, generating next to nothing in sales.

8) Not diversifying one’s traffic sources.

The business models of third-party platforms, such as Google, Facebook, and others, rely on selling to consumers’ eyeballs – which is why they are constantly updating. An affiliate marketer who relies on one single platform as a traffic source can be faced with going out of business any time one of these updates is released. Diversifying traffic sources is a preventative business strategy.

9) Not directing traffic to mobile-friendly sites.

VentureHarbour notes that in November 2014, mobile sites accounted for 46% of all affiliate clicks, and 26% of all affiliate retail sales. Therefore, an affiliate marketer who directs traffic to any non-mobile sites at all is likely losing considerable potential commissions. Google at that time began telling webmasters that their sites needed to be mobile-friendly, launched a ‘mobile-friendliness checker,’ and began displaying in search results whether or not pages were mobile-friendly.

10) Not researching demand for a product.

Selling a product that is not in high demand will not be profitable. It is better to do research and find out if the product is one that is needed by a considerable number of consumers.
